The Criollo Cocoa from Peru

This chocolate is made from high-quality cocoa grown in the Satipo province, on the edge of the vast Amazonian plain in Peru. It grows at an altitude of between 700 and 1000 meters.

It is an exceptional cocoa with subtle aromas. It stands out for:
✔ Natural sweetness – Less bitter than other varieties, it reveals delicate notes of dried fruits, honey, and spices.
✔ Low tannin content – This gives it a silky texture and a refined taste.
✔ Nutritional richness – Rich in antioxidants, magnesium, and theobromine, it is known for its energizing benefits and heart-opening effect.

It is raw, organic, and grown in a respectful and ethical manner by wonderful people.

Each step of the production process is carried out with careful attention. The cooperative from which it originates is one of the last in Peru (and even in all of Latin America) to cultivate and protect this variety in order to prevent the introduction of hybrids into the producers’ plantations.

This chocolate cannot be certified organic in France, but the ingredients used are the same as in all our other chocolates, and the CBD is of excellent quality and organically certified.
