At INKAO, we do more than just make chocolate—we bring an experience to life, a journey where every bite tells a story.
Passionate about chocolate, and even more so about raw chocolate, we rolled up our sleeves 16 years ago to create our own recipes. Our mission? To craft delicious and wholesome chocolate for everyone, without compromising on quality.
From our workshop, now nestled in Bugarach, in the Aude region, we do everything ourselves—from processing raw ingredients to packaging—carefully selecting only naturally grown ingredients, in harmony with the earth’s cycles.
Our chocolate bars, wrapped in packaging printed with plant-based inks, reflect our values: authentic, natural, and respectful.
Rediscovering Cacao in Its Purest Form
While working on our online store, we felt the urge to dive back into the history of cacao and enjoy it as the Incas and Mayas once did: pure, simply mixed with hot water and a touch of vanilla and chili. We then experienced its depth, intensity, and heart-opening power.
This is how we decided to expand our universe by offering premium ceremonial cacao. Carefully sourced from Peru, Guatemala, and Colombia, our cacaos are intended for those seeking a deeper, more spiritual connection with this sacred plant.
